Doctor Randy Davis is a well-known orthopedic surgeon and professor who resides in the Baltimore metropolitan area. He earned his BA and MD at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed his residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in 1983. Doctor Davis is board certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, and he is licensed to practice in Maryland.

Professionally, Dr. Davis has been an orthopedic surgeon for the Baltimore Washington Medical Center since 1983, and Doctor Davis has received numerous awards and honors from various publications for his level of expertise and patient satisfaction. He served as the Director of Spine Surgery at Baltimore Washington Medical Center from 2003-2015, the President of the Medical Staff at Baltimore Washington Medical Center from 2012-2013, and the Lead Surgeon for the University of Maryland Spine Fellowship at Baltimore Washington Medical Center, a position he currently he still holds

In addition to his work as an active orthopedic surgeon and administrator, Doctor Randy Davis is an Associate Professor of Orthopedics and Neurosurgery at the Johns Hopkins University and Associate Professor of Orthopedics at the University of Maryland. He has also worked with a variety of companies to design spinal implants for lumbar, thoracic and cervical fusion surgeries as well as cervical disc replacement.

Doctor Randy Davis is an active member of the Baltimore community and gives back when he can. He has the honor of working with Dr. Ben Carson and the Carson Scholars Program for a number of years to provide scholarships to students for academic achievement and humanitarianism. He has also leant his expertise to RXLaughter.com to produce a video demonstrating humor as a means to help healing.  He also works with WeAreProjectZero.org to help their ocean conservation and rescue efforts.
